I have been practicing yoga since 1994 and teaching since 2002. I am passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga and mindfulness and offer a range of classes and courses both in person and online.
I completed teacher training with Yoga Scotland in 2002. Since then I have gone on to study extensively with internationally renowned yoga educator Leslie Kaminoff. His courses have been hugely inspirational and have helped deepen my understanding of anatomy within the context of a yoga practice.
I have undergone mindfulness teacher training with the Mindfulness Association and now offer the 8 week Mindfulness Based Living Course. I have developed a 3 week self paced mindfulness program for beginners which is available on my website. I offer quarterly day/half day yoga and mindfulness retreats for those who want to deepen their practice. I also offer 1-1 sessions where together we will put together a programme based around your individual needs.
Regular practice helps us to navigate the ups and downs of life, to shine the light of awareness on all our unhelpful behaviours which leave us feeling stuck. It brings to light those parts of ourselves we’d rather keep hidden away and helps us to gradually turn towards them with a smile. It helps us open up to joy and gratitude and to begin to live more fully and freely. It’s not always an easy journey but in my opinion it’s the only one worth taking. If you’d like some help along the way then please come along to my classes or reach out for more information.
