Louise took her first yoga class in her teens in the late 80’s which sparked the beginning of her yoga journey. She trained in Indian head massage in 2004 whilst continuing to practice yoga then joining her first Hatha 200hr yoga teacher training in April 2014.
She has loved to continue to learn and complete several further trainings in different yoga styles and traditions that she enjoyed over the years. Along with deepening her knowledge on the body by completing a Diploma with Scottish Massage Schools in 2020. Her personal journey in exploring the different tools and styles of yoga has improved her life in every way. Her love of Yoga has inspired her to share with others how yoga has made her feel and the experiences she’s found, where Yoga can help to expand our awareness by exploring the limits of the body, heart, and mind.
Her teaching style has evolved into sharing an interweaving blend of the various yoga styles of Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Mantra Meditation, Yin and Restorative yoga, along with Qigong into an integrated practice to enliven and ultimately find balance on a physical, emotional, and mental level. Yoga is about balance, learning how to move our bodies in different ways, that asks for tightness to bend and softness to be strong, graceful, playful, and skilled. It challenges the limits of the mind and body and encourages you to expand your field of awareness. Her classes are suitable for all levels including beginners in helping to find balance and evolve your practice.
