Yoga Scotland YTT500, Living Yoga, BWY Pregnancy, Somatics, Chair Yoga, Yoga for Cancer.
18 years ago I discovered yoga after my youngest child was born. I wanted to get some ME time but discovered yoga was far more. I attended the same class for over 10 years before being inspired to start my first 2 years yoga teacher training with the prestigious Yoga Scotland in Glasgow. I obtained my Yoga Teacher Training 500 hours qualification and accreditation from Yoga Scotland in 2017.
I have since gone on to add to this with the Yoga Scotland Living with Yoga course, BWY Pregnancy Yoga as well as courses in Somatics, Chair Yoga, Yoga from Cancer. Additionally, attending courses ran by Yvonne Austen, Pete Blackaby, Leslie Kaminoff …
My yoga has helped me through some of my hardest times in my life. My youngest was very ill when he was born. Yoga gave me restoration and calmness that enabled me to be able to deal better with his condition.
Before my training I also had breast cancer and found that attended my regular classes, as much as I could, helped me so much with my symptoms and really helped me cope with having cancer. Seeing how much it helped me I wanted to be able to help others. So I decided to change my life plan and leave my corporate life to become a yoga teacher.
